Maptitude - http://research.umbc.edu/~roswell/maptitude.html Margie: Have you tried using the "reposition map" hand tool to drag the displayed map image out from under the "stuck legend"? If that doesn't work (i.e. if you move some of your map view off the screen), you can always change the map scale to shrink the image to fit on the screen without encroaching on the legend.
