i just thought i'd share why i am a maptitude user:

years ago we went down to atlanta for comdex, mostly to look at the mapinfo
booth. caliper had a booth nearby. they took a few minutes to demonstrate
some of the functions of the program, and told us what data it came with.

we bought it on the spot, without really knowing what we would do with it.
over time it has replaced mapinfo for most of our mapping tasks. it is
faster to get results, and they look better.

if i could get little "realestate graphics" style cameras that i could use a
rotatable symbols that i could label with a photo number, it would take over
almost all of the rest.
