Ever try to do a "Scaled-symbol" thematic map on a line coverage in MI? You
can't do it. Ever try to do a bivariate "Colour theme" and "Scaled-symbol "
thematic on a line coverage? You can't do that either. These are
absolutely unforgivable omissions for a serious GIS. That's not to say
Maptitude is perfect (I too would like to save themes or have more control
over thematic labeling in the legend) but it at least has the basic thematic
functionality for all three geo-spatial data types (areas, lines, and
points).
