They had 30
year old planimetric maps (with coordinate system tics) with 30 year old parcel
boundaries on them. We hand compared them with the current parcel maps and
updated them and then digitized off of the
planimetrics.

$1,500-$4,000
roughly.
> How did the accuracy levels turn out
on your project of 45,000 parcels?
It wasn't
engineering level accuracy but perfectly good for most assessor uses as long as
you issue the caveat that the deed is the only legal boundary
description.
