With reference to both the threads, one for DAS 'dasRegionFeature'
and
the other one for installation, I do not know how can you query DAS
server if you are getting problems during install. for
dasRegionFeature,
you probably have the latest up to date code and secondarily if you
are
having install level problems, the rest should not work anyways.
That is a fair enough comment! However my Windows installation works
in most respects and in particular DAS works for dasGene-type
importable/exportable pairs which made me expect that dasRegionFeature
type DAS should work too... and, as I just realised, it does, if I
rename my Attributes from 'chrStart' and chrEnd' to 'start' and 'end'.
I wasn't expecting theinternal names of attributes in the Exportable
to have to be literally 'start', 'end', 'orientation'.
You are right, there should not be a requirement for any rigid naming
of attributes or filters.
Let us check it again
a.
Thanks again for your efforts,
Matthew
