Yeah. Can you imagine a movie being made in 1975 or so showing Operation Phoenix in Vietnam "objectively" as a way of gleaning information in "ticking time-bomb" fashion? Ironically, one movie that some progressives hailed--"The Deer Hunter"--depicted the Vietnamese forcing captives to play Russian Roulette (not so much to force them to provide information but just out of commie perversity.) In fact the only instances was just the opposite, the US forcing Vietnamese captives to play the "game". Typical.
