Lapavitsas et al know this and make this point repeatedly. A Grexit would have to be tied to an assault on capitalist class power - not, as some people seem to assume, a socialist revolution, but a serious redistribution of wealth and power, involving extensive nationalisations and state intervention in the economy. Roberts is a bit of a broken record on this subject. Everything always comes back to the law of the tendency of the rate of profit to fall, and he has no idea how to handle the political and ideological mediations through which any strategy for radical change must pass. _________________________________________________________ Full posting guidelines at: http://www.marxmail.org/sub.htm Set your options at: http://lists.csbs.utah.edu/options/marxism/archive%40mail-archive.com
