I had to look it up: haggis (noun) a traditionally Scottish dish that consists of the heart, liver, and lungs of a sheep or a calf minced with suet, onions, oatmeal, and seasonings and boiled in the stomach of the animal. Don't think I'd like it even when it was fresh. 😉 But this discussion is stale, because it dwells so much on arguing the three eternal alternatives: vote Biden, vote Trump, don't vote. Occasionally someone adds, demand that the unions start a labor party. And then there is the grand armchair guy who tells us "working inside a reformist party is not unprincipled if it is the more effective way to reach and influence its members in the absence of a pre-revolutionary situation." How you gonna "work inside" - do your share of telephone banking? Because Trotskyists like you have been kicked out time and again for your transparently self-serving aim. Why not just tell our contacts to do whatever they want on election day; the important thing is that you decide we can run things better and commit to that cause for the rest of your days. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
