That's not so say that because the PRC was expansionist to the limits of
the expansions of various dynasties through history, it is today
territorially expansionist, and a threat to other countries beyond those
historical regions peopled by other nationalities and cultures, like
Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Burma, Nepal, India, etc. I don't believe so
myself. But I think by the definition of imperialism, China today must be
seen as being the result of imperialist policies, which continue in the
outer regions like Tibet, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.
