Mark, yes the FI such as it was (in exile, in prison, underground) via their 
agents in London and New York supported the PMP. Though, of course, not all of 
them.

But I've never found a "revolutionary defeatist" document in the SWPs internal 
bulletins or printed in The Militant. This is one of the harsh criticisms G. 
Munis made (included in the book Socialism on Trial by James P. Cannon.) Munis 
attacked the SWP for dropping it in the face of the leadership being put on 
trial for their opposition to WWII. I though beginning after December 7, 1941, 
the SWP was far more "correct" than before it. By the way, the day after Pearl 
Harbor day, was the day the SWP leadership was sentenced.
