Except I didn't " look down on the tens of millions of its Republican supporters as crazies and deplorables" I referred to a *PORTION* of those participating in the Jan 6 riots. What would you call the QAnon believers, the followers of Alex Jones, the Oath Takers, the Proud Boys.? Passionate? Do you think a la Trump that there are "good people on both sides," as in Charlottesville. Back in the day when I was working in Detroit, it was known that KKK members were trying to organize inside certain locals. "Misguided"? You think? "Deplorable"? Given the unsecret history of the Klan, I would call members "the enemy" and forget all other modifiers. I never referred to Dem supporters as middle class aspirational elite. That characterization referred to the shopkeepers, officials.cops, again a portion of those partaking in Jan 6. Work on your reading comprehension, although I suspect the real problem is a pathological need to distort what others suggest. I wish I were wrong.
