Ive read that Trump received fewer votes than he did in 2016 -- but that Harris just bombed with her phony, poorly run campaign. Meanwhile some of the states that voted overwhelmingly for rump also strengthened protection of abortion rights and raised the minimum wage. Nothing is simple. Biden's disastrous foreign policy and the growing wars and Harri's inability and unwillingness to distance herself from it -- and her alignment with the Cheneys and the Generals turned her base away. She ran as a Republican and an imperialist warmonger. Every time she opened her mouth she pushed away sane, liberal and progressive/left voters. In this campaign between disaster and catastrophe, the Clintonite "centrists" handed the country to Trump. While WW III may have been averted, climate catastrophe seems inevitable. The rot of decadent capitalism is upon us comrades. What is needed, though unlikely, is a broad front left/progressive coalition and movement to abolish the corporate rule that is destroying the living world.
