Marv, I think you're conflating the "Right of Nations to Self Determination"
with the "Theory of Permanent Revolution." The working people of an occupied
(albeit capitalist) country will likely be worse off under occupation and will
fight the occupation or invasion shoulder-to-shoulder with other sectors of the
society, working class and other classes, who have a common enemy in the
invader. The doctrine of the right to self determination says that the working
classes need to lead that struggle.
