Thanks for posting this. When I was active in the anti-globalization movement, I definitely saw Wolf as the most important intellectual defender of neoliberal globalization. Thomas Friedman was superficial, and while I hatevto give credit to a war criminal, Samuel Huntington took Friedman down with his "all good things go together " parody.
But Wolf made actual arguments that needed to be countered. Also, say what you will about home, he is the only prominent architect of global neoliberalism besides Stiglitz to actually debate opponents, hear their arguments and try to address them.
