Way back at the end of the 1960s, there was an attempt by some Marxists (names escape me) to distinguish STRUCTURAL REFORMS that actually change the nature of capitalism IN THE DIRECTION of "socialism" and LEGITIMIZATION REFORMS that protect the power of capital.
