This is true. But there is also a certain realism to notion that "Abolish Fun" is not a winning slogan. I would even suggest that happiness is indispensable to revolutionary practice. The title comes from a statement in Marx's favorite "Ricardian socialist" pamphlet, The Source and Remedy of the National Difficulties: "THE ACCUMULATION OF CAPITAL IS VERY LIMITED, if the happiness of the whole, and not the luxuries of a few, is the proper subject for national congratulation."
