You call workers who vote Republican "politically backward." That is merely a 
statement of your prejudice. That Texas union guy who just won an election on a 
progressive economic platform won it with votes from Republican workers. *** 
While you shade this end of the spectrum one way, you inflate the other end, 
referring to the "labour movement," which in the U.S. is now a tiny percentage 
of the employed. *** All in all, you shade the numbers in support of your 
preference for a "struggle to reform it [the DP] from within."
