Hari, based on your last post, I hope you are not taking taking this discussion too personally. I draw a sharp line between serious Marxists and Leninists with leadership qualities and dilettantes playing the role, both types I've met on this list and outside of it over the years. Though equally sidelined at present, I have a pretty good sense of who my neighbours, friends, relatives, and former workmates would choose to follow and who they would brusquely elbow aside in a revolutionary crisis if it came to that.
