Well, that's why I suggested from the start to configure a troubled client
with a static IP address because I knew there was something weird about the
"Mike's So Soft" DHCP server. Any IP address (specially the one being used by
the Linux box) should have been in the EXCLUDE list.
I have used MS DHCP before using a similar setting without any problem.
Although I suspected your DHCP server, I took it for granted that the Linux
box IP address was in the EXCLUDE list. Am I making any sense here?
