>with 416MB of RAM, I tend to forget that RAM is an issue for many folks.

Heh heh. I've got my G3 up to 576 in preparation for OS X. (C'mon, Jaguar....) But
on my PCP I've got 128, and would like to get to 256 or 384, since it's going to be my
main *nix workstation (until I get networked), as well as development server. I'm
actually entertaining the idea of putting BSD on a SE/30 for giggles. I think I can
scrounge 16 MB for that guy without spending anything. :) I've got a big hard drive
for it, so I can set up plenty of swap, too.

>Now that I think about it, I'll set up the guest account like that....

Do you typically set up a guest account on your machines? I've been thinking about
it, and whether it should be a regular user or more restricted.

>"chsh -s /usr/bin/X11/startx guest"

Wow, that's a great idea! Thanks a bunch. I don't think I would have thought of
setting the shell to something other than a shell. :D I doubt she'd use a shell, but
probably best to change the terminal commands like you mentioned.

>"Screwtape Letters" is also a classic, almost 60 years old & not a bit outdated.

I tried reading that as a teen, but it was too deep for me then.
