        Hmm.  Could be.  I'm not familiar with YDL, so I couldn't say.

        IMO, YDL on the iMac is a waste of the iMac.  Personally, I 
believe that you should run YDL on older machines which can't 
reasonably support the latest stable version of the OS.

        The pismo is still considered by many to be the best laptop that 
has been made in the last five years.  It's fast enough for MacOS X 
(I run it myself), the RAM, hard drive, and CPU are easily expandable 
by technically inclined users (the PowerBook G4 is a bitch to upgrade 
if you have to take the back off, and don't even bother trying to 
upgrade an iBook), has a good display, support for integrated AirPort 
card, CardBus slot, removable bays allowing you to swap your 
CD/DVD-ROM drive for a floppy, second hard drive, second battery, 
etc....

        The PowerBook G4 is faster, has more video RAM, better display, 
etc... but it still has a hard time overcoming the legacy of the 
Pismo.
