In my experience with Linux, a Pentium will out-perform a 604 of the same
clock rate. I don't deal much with hardware older, unless it is an SGI ;)

RedHat has a KickStart program that will allow you to duplicate a install
to another machine. I think I saw it as part of the YDL text install as
well.

Figuring out KickStart is one of those to-do items that seems to slip down
the list for me.
