Well from what I have been reading, installing any linux distro on a PB 1400 / 5300 is impossible. One called MkLinux works, but there is no PCMCIA support which I need for wireless networking, so I think I am going to have to get a a powerbook with 32mb or higher ram, and just install OS 9. Oh well, it was worth a try, if any of you have any suggestions please do mail them to me, but I am going to just get a 5300/1400, after all, the school's network is an AppleTalk network. David.
