I was getting the same sort of stalls when installing YDL on a mac 
7200. Finally, In desperation, I read the instructions about checking 
your CDs after burning, as per

Turns out two of the three CDs were bad, even though the burn had gone 
without a hitch. Reburning until they checked out finally led to a 
complete install.

partition, Mac OS9 on the last partition, I've tried it with no Mac OS 
at all, same result.

Is there some way to do this I'm not aware of?
