I have two different sets of iso's burned on two separate computers..
My set was burned on a Win2k PC at work. Were I a conspiracy buff I'd give that some attention... ;-))

The RedHat ( and Fedora ) installer has an option to check your CD's at the start of the install.
Do you have this choice using the text install on YDL?
Yes, that was how I checked the burned CDs. I was vaguely aware I could check them but wasn't sure how to do it until Henry Olders pointed me in the right direction.
I never use the graphical install, I find the text installer is less troublesome
Larry Kollar suggested this as well:
Try using the text-mode (console) installer instead of the GUI installer. For whatever reason, it seems to be more reliable.
Yellow Dog's instructions for the early iMac say to use the text install, and the install program will default to that on the iMac even if you don't specify it. Didn't seem to help in this case.
I'm half tempted to try installing YDL on the newer iBook, the one which passed all the CDs. Unfortunately, that's my everyday computer and I don't even want to _think_ about the hassle involved there.
