As Marla states, we also use Media Bin and we synchronize metadata for images of objects in the collection with our TMS CMS. We also have store none-object images (e.g., event photography, gallery installations, even our badge photos in it. We also it to automatically generate derivatives for our web and FTP them to the web server, which is co-located at another site. And a large number of staff (68 last year) use it to download images in the correct size for various uses such as email, PowerPoint, etc. (over 21,000 downloads last year). It is probably the system that has the largest number of users here at the MIA. John John R.
