That's rather strange reasoning that you impute to them, Peter, for SCMS
is specifically configured to allow copying audio data from premastered
discs, and titles are not copyrightable.
I'm very sure that the MDS-W1's MD SYNC function will copy titles from a
premastered disc ... one way to find out, I guess.
