I would appreciate it if you would just stop short of judging something to
be "not music". I can do without your value-judgment, thankyouverymuch. For
the record, I am no big fan of rap music, or R&B, either. But I imagine
there are those on this list that are. Then again, what I like may not be
everybody's taste, either. Fine. This list is for discussing MiniDisc and
related topics, not for wpouting what individual members deem to be "music",
"art" or "tasty".
Cast your mind back a few years. The same "isn't really music"
classification was used to describe Elvis, The Beatles, the Sex Pistols, and
many others. Come to think of it, Johann Sebastian Bach wasn't appreciated a
whole lot in his time, either.
To me, a remark like that is a sign of a closed mind, one of the worst
diseases a human can suffer from.
