Here is how to set up folders and filters in Outlook Express.

In the main Outlook window, drop down the "Message" menu and select
"Create Rule from
Message..." This will open a "New Mail Rule" window with lots of options
shown in four smaller
windows.

In the top window (1. Select the Conditions for your rule) check the box
at the line "Where the To or
CC line contains people" and deselect any other boxes in that window.

Go to the second window (2. Select the actions for your rule) and select
"Move it to the specified
folder" and make sure no other boxes are checked.

In the third window (3. Rule description) you will see the instructions
you set in the first two windows.
Click on the highlighted (blue) text in the line for "To or CC contains"
This will open a new window.
Paste or type In the main Outlook window, drop down the "Message" menu

"Add." If there
are any other email addresses shown in that window, click on them once,
the click "Remove." Click
"OK."

Still in the third window, you will see the reference to Copy to
specified folder. Click on the highlighted
word "specified." The window that opens will show all of your folders in
Outlook. You need to now add
a new folder called "Minidisc" or whatever you choose. If "Local
Folders" is highlighted, then the new
folder will appear as a separate folder. I put mine as a
secondary folder under "Inbox" by highlighting "Inbox" then clicking
"New Folder." Type in "Minidisc"
(or whatever) and click "OK"

The fourth window shows the name for the new rule you have just created.
You can change this if you
like, but it's not necessary. Click "OK" in the main window and you are
all set to have all the Minidisc
messages separated and consolidated into one folder. in the first blank
space then click "Add." If there
are any other email addresses shown in that window, click on them once,
the click "Remove." Click
"OK."
