I agree with you. As the this needs to be broadened to cover development
platforms and not just production devices.

Not sure who wrote up the initial wiki's or the intent behind it. But the
following comes to my mind. The devices tend to be donated. However, usually
there are additional costs to factor in like shipping & handling,
custom/duties must be factored in (this tends to vary from country to
country and the shipping carrier fees).

Apart from this I can't forsee a additional budget need.

Either way is fine - we will just work through the finalized community
device process. If LF will channel the devices (including shipping &
handling) after MeeGo community decide who the board should go through -
that will work for us.
