'stroker' is the affectionate term given to an engine that has had it's stroke length increased
the most common way is by putting a bigger crank from a bigger engine
but I believe you can also achieve a longer stroke using custom length con rods
 
(not sure about that last comment, tis just something I heard on the grapevine, I've always done it using bigger crank and rods)

Ok, so what rods and pistons should be used, and will anything else need to be upgraded eg. what size webbers? Also, could someone recommend an engine place in melbourne which can help me, and what does 'stroker' mean?
