Luke,
A Z24 crank can be used with a lot of modification. I only know of one FJ24
that has been built that way and it is a race motor and is rebuilt every
1000k's. Modifying a z24 crank would be an extremely expensive way of doing
it but if you can afford it Crankshaft Rebuilders in Victoria are the only
place I would trust to do it.
I would suggest simply boring the motor out and getting your manifolds match
ported to your head. That and a nice pair of cams with vernier cam wheels
should net you an easy 170-180hp while still retaining some driveability. If
you want much more than that I suggest you go a FJ20 turbo.
Jake
btw A genuine FJ24 is only 2340cc.
