Yeah, I've got one on mine too. I was going to take it off, and use our
Commy for towing instead, but the Datto is just such a handy tow car (for
around town anyway) - with it's trusty turbo motor, strong clutch, low first
gear and good rear visibility for reversing the trailer. I imagine the Commy
would be a pain - high first gear, crap clutch, shitty rear visibilty.
I do sometimes wonder what the extra weight of the towbar would be worth
over the 1/4 mile though! 0.001 seconds??

I've had a tow bar on my 510 for ever, only saved me once though when a
Cortina came through a Stop sign and hit me hard. I wasn't looking forward
to inspecting the damage but to my surprise the only damage to me was a
smashed tow ball cover which was an exy chromed job as well. The Cortinia
had some improvements done to the grill, popped guard and bumper and a very
unhappy driver who want to know why I the **** I stopped at the "stop" sign
as no one else does - what could I say - not much for a change.

I was thinking about modifying, and mass producing HZ holden tow-bar
assemblies - bolt the thing onto your rails - give those cockey mitsubishi
lancer drivers a bit of a shock upon impact hey?!!?? Never seen a dime with
a tow-bar though hey - :)
