Andrew,
It's a nice feeling when you stumble on a collection of good bits for a 510.
As a matter of interest, what's a good rear bumper worth these days.

Also, Matt in Sydney has?/had some 1600 side badges and he will see this if
they're available and you're still after some at a reasonable price.

I was lucky when I bought my resto car, (which incidently has been hit up
the
bum, but the tail lights came through unscathed), I went on a parts hunt and
had never had so much luck. I got a pristine rear bumper from a wrecker in
Melbourne. I also went through his bits box and found a pair of front side
markers, (getting rare too), elctronic dizzy, full set of original hub caps,
later model ignition switch with steering lock, even door lock knobs, (funny
but these are scarce too). So now she sits at home waiting for my return.
Only
thing I would like to get are the 'DATSUN 1600' badges for the front guards,
and back panel.

I straightened out the rear hit with a jack and BIG hammer, though I need to
get a lower valance panel as mine is too 'stretched' to smooth back into
shape,
(anyone got any ideas where to get this and the panels that goes behind the
rear quarters and weld to the floor?)

Andrew
