Option gearboxes are nla from Nissan so you have to be lucky to find one,
there are bound to be a few in the dusty back corners of garages across the
land. Every now and then one comes up for sale on the trading post, usually
with a high price tag.
As this question comes up now and again I'll give you the ratios for some of
the popular boxes;
N3130 Close Ratio OD 1 2.906; 2 1.902; 3 1.308; 4 1.000; 5 0.865; R 3.382
N3030 Wide Ratio OD 1 3.321; 2 2.077; 3 1.308; 4 1.000; 5 0.865; R 3.382
N3220 Opt 1 Race 1 2.818; 2 1.973; 3 1.470; 4 1.192; 5 1.000; R 3.382
N3221 Opt 2 Race 1 2.348; 2 1.601; 3 1.296; 4 1.138; 5 1.000; R 3.382
N3222 Opt 3 Race 1 2.192; 2 1.601; 3 1.470; 4 1.138; 5 1.000; R 3.382
N3201 Rally 1 3.321; 2 2.270; 3 1.601; 4 1.240; 5 1.000; R 3.382
FJ20T ZL71B 1 3.657; 2 2.177; 3 1.419; 4 1.000; 5 0.833; R 3.382
SR20T ? can't find
Z18ET ? don't know
Anyone know what the SR or Z18 ratios are? Pete Liebig for the SR?
