The only flaw in an otherwise perfect car. A common problem in 68 models
only - dont ask me why! Perhaps it has something to do with the speed you
were driving at!
Any year bonnet will fit as a replacement, but you must retain the original
'68 hinges. They are mounted slightly differently on the body to the later
ones.
Alternatively the bonnet is usually repairable, they usually only fold where
they rap over the leading edge of the roof.
Straighten, bog, respray. Then fit a secondary strap to avoid a repeat
performance.
