Matt,
If a brake system will pump up then there is not usually much wrong with the
components other than air in the lines. I'm probably telling you how to suck
eggs here but here goes.

Bleeding brakes without high tech equipment is best done with two ppl. Slow
and smooth pedal strokes down with the bleeder open and preferably a
visibleeder attached but a suitable diameter clear tube is OK, close bleeder
and release pedal. Start from the longest line and work back to the shortest
line. If a reasonable amount of fluid doesn't come out of the bleeder on
each stroke then the master cylinder isn't priming properly and needs
repairing or replacing.

regards
Terry

terry, errol,
yes it does feel spongy, iv'e bled the system 3times and it's still the
same.
the m/c is a 3/4 sanyco?? must be a cheap shit brand. i'm running vl
commodore callipers single floaters. when you pump the peddal it comes good
then if you let it go for a little and hit the peddal again and it goes
straight to the floor. someone i spoke to said to clamp off the back from
the front and vice verser . when i clamped off the rear calipers i got a
good peddal feel and it didnt feel spongy at all , but when iclamped off the
front callipers it felt spongy again.
could it be the booster??
matt
