Well guys the unspeakable has happened, crusing home on friday night i gave
it a little to much stick out of a roundabout and planted CMY-510 square
into a tree on the front wheel and a telegraph pole on the rear. thankfully
everyone came out with very minimal injuries. Now i need some advice from
people who have done this before, should i be looking at fixing what ive got
left which would be a big job, although it has been restored origionally
without expense spared by the previous owner. Or should i be looking at
getting another body and swapping my mechanicals which are 95% OK? I am in
the sydeny area what are my chances of finding a body only with minimal
rust? and how much will it typically cost to turn a moderate body into a
straight rust-free 510 ? Ive spoken to a panelbeater who said roughly 5
grand without parts which sounds bloody high.Any help would be much
apreciated.
