He told me that it was off a RB25 and a zoom
article I found claims that the RB25det turbo is similar to the T3 but has a
smaller inducer than the T3. Anyway if he still has it this arvo I'm going
down to check it out and if everything is in good nick, I'll probably pick it
up. Should make the ol' Z-18 sing with some luck!

i rang the guy at Ashmore, with the RB25DET, measured up to
be a T03 exhaust
not a T2* type. Good price for a ball bearing T03 @
$550

I'm going to look at a T28 off an RB25 this
afternoon that I found for sale in the papers. I was just wondering if
anyone can tell me what to look for just to make sure that it is actually a
T28? I know to check the turbo shaft for any wear in the thrust
washers, but how much lateral movement should it have? I've never
really had much to do with turbos so I'm not quite sure how to tell them
apart. Your advice would be much appreciated!
