Stanza Diff

guys what's a good (read tough) replacement diff for a stanza? I've busted mine BIG time when you try to accelerate there's just a whirring noise from the diff then occasionally there's a BANG the diff grabs, throws the car forward about 2m then starts just whirring and spinning again stripped axel perhaps? will a S3 TRX diff bolt straight up?
