David,
I would probably go with something like S14 or S15 type turbo as they are within
your budget and are much earlier spool up than the TO4's.I reckon this would
compliment the grunty nature of a stroker and these turbos are good for 300 plus
hp.The RB25 turbo is probably worth considering if you dont plan to run big
boost and are available for $1300 new.I would only go for old school type turbos
if you want a lot of hp and dont have the budget for the hi tech stuff.
