Gday Heed the advise fellas. Spend 100 bucks on a extinguisher or end up like me. I had to drive to canberra from sydney and back on the same day last november and was within 1 hour from my house on the way back when someone honked me. I looked at the back and smoke was pissing out the back of the car and then the accelerator dropped to the floor and i had no power. Luckily i was right near an off ramp so i turned up it. The paint on the bonnet was bubled and stripped off before my car stopped. I jumped out got my stuff and got well clear in case something exploded. I had no fire extinguisher so had to stand back and watch the car i loved burn before my very eyes. Eventually a kind bloke pulled over and popped the bonnet and put out the engine bay fire and some small grass fires it had started. My car was fucked and i had to sell what was left of it for a few hundred bucks. The bloke who bought it was/is onm this list-adrew peters i think. I didnt have comprehensive insurnace and dont have enough dough to buy another car. I now have to ride my push bike around and catch the bus which is a nightmare. I sure am fit but sometimes you need a car for emergencies. Moral of the story is buy a friggin fire extinguisher.
