Thanks mark
The Z20 is only 85mm bore thou isnt it? I'd like to take it to 87 or 88mm bore. My block has already been bored to 86mm on a previous rebuild so the Z20 pistons are out unless i sleeve it, which i wouldnt do. Do you know how much it is to sonicly test the bores? thanks Chris mark krawczuk writes: > hi, dont you mean the crank? > i am using l20b conrods and z20 pistons, i am also running a z18 head/t3 > turbo. there are two types of z20 pistons, flat and dished, i am using > dished , and with this set up (if i remember rightly) i am getting about > 7.6:1 comp. > > might pay to get the piston bore sonic tested for thickness. > > > mark k > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Chris Simpson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Tuesday, April 02, 2002 6:05 PM > Subject: L/Z HYBRIDS > > > > > > g'day all, > > > > Im currently having my L20 block machined to take the Z24 crank and im > > wondering what others have done for pistons. > > > > I want to run forgies and a compression ratio of around 8-8.5:1.
