i'm in canberra so its damn cold... the car was doing something similar a few months ago but the problem went away. i've recently installed a VDO temp gauge, is there any chance that i need to get it calibrated? (i dont understand how the sender works). the car doesn't smell hot (and i've cooked a datto engine before so i know what it smells like). i'll throw the old gauge back in and see what sort of readings i get.
