I wonder if Nissan did a deal with VW in RSA and Mexico as well as in Aus - quite a coincidence as they produced a lot of Datsuns in those 2 countries, although the Mexican ones were J models (sedans even had solid rear axle and leaf springs). That White '70 model in the foreground of the second pic just may happen to be mine, funny thing is the one in front of it doesn't seem to have the D A T S U N badge on the rear panel at all.
