Rhys and Mark Mine is only running 10.05:1 compression. Its running right on 10 degrees BTDC, no vacuum advance, total advance is only about 15 degrees BTDC. The plugs in it are BP7ES, up from BP6EY. The 7's didnt affect it at all, in terms of running on, but it does seem much smoother idling and accelerating, meaning that maybe it is a step in the right dirrection.
Its also got a 30/70 cam in it which im going to take out tonight and put in the std L16 cam and see how that goes. How have others found stroker motors to idle with various cams in it. Mine with the 30/70 cam is a bit of a shocker!, loud and rocks around a bit, unless you idle it at like 1100, but thats too high it should idle lower than that Thanks all Chris S ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rhys McGhee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 11, 2002 7:18 PM Subject: Re: cam timing on stroker! > Chris > Do you know what compression ratio your motor is running ?
