This is way off topic too but I'm hopeful for some useful info here as I
figure that I'm likely to get a better quality answer than on cars.com.

My nephew has 3 Fords in his backyard (one is an ambo fully decked out for
dirty weekends etc) and they're all in various states of rejuvenation but
the EA wagon just needs a power plant and tranny to get on the road - the
question is if he drops his GAS Research fed 351 Cleveland and 5 speed into
the EA Wagon (that originally came with a 6 cylinder/3 speed auto crap box)
to get it up and running, what sort of grief is he likely to be in for from
the RTA in NSW? and he lives in Yass (as in the bush)

I'm thinking we may be able to use EB stuff but does anyone know if we can?
He already has a 9" disc rear end in the EA but obviously the front
suspension and brakes would need to be at least up to the level of the 5
litre. Anything else?

I guess that the $64 question is would it be likely to require an
engineering report or just a slip of whatever colour the rego one is?

Any info gratefully received.

TIA
regards
Terry

hi,a friend of mine just pulled out a cam from a 308 holden.

it was supposed to be standard, but the cam has the following numbers on
it:

JC 5OBH ( not sure if the O is a letter or number)

and the following number, was sorta stamped underneath it:

921-766

any ideas on who makes the cam?
