I think it might be Les Collins who you are thinking. Les started Datrally in the late 70's, but doesnt own it now. Les builds large L18's to order, but they aint cheap. For really big L18's Les installs a plate on top of the L18 block, overbores both, then inserts sleeves. I think it ends up around 2.3litres (Errol?) Good for 200 REAL hp with his carbs, head, cam, exhaust system, and they look sweet.
