I have to agree with Kris The dyno place should
have all the jets u will need and if he's any good he should be able to have a
good "stab in the dark' first too
Weber jets are hellish expensive and it seems that
so many different combinations will work.
I have two sets of jets for my 45's. One for coast
altitude and one set for over 1000m altitude.
Its hard to feel the difference running around (my)
town on either set but u can really feel the difference on a racetrack and the
fuel economy! The thing is when you look at the numbers on the jets they don't
seem to run sequentially or have relevance.. ie on one set I use #195 main
jets and on the other set I used #145 main jets BUT they work
fine.
Does the engine run at all?
Did the carbs come off a similar engine?
Anyway my calculator says that if u
redline at 6000rpm
Choke 36 Main jet 145 Emulsion tubes F9/F16/F2
(lean to rich) Air correctors 180 Idle jets 50F9 Pump jets 40 Aux venturis
4.5
Hope this helps
Cheers
Mick
