I'd take the other's suggestions and listen if the servo is moving into and out of park - the servo could be bad, the amplifier could bad, or the pushbutton unit could be bad. The amplifier is quick and easy to pull and check, just pull the liner to the glovebox. If the circuit board looks burnt, then it is. If the servo moves, and the amplifier looks fine, then...
